    Bear Down, Chicago Bears!!!!!

Bear down, Chicago Bears! Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear down, Chicago Bears! Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown
You're the pride and joy of Illinois. Chicago Bears, bear down

Great game. Came up short in the end, but at least it wasn't the blowout everyone predicted.

Heal and rest up, 'Hawks. Next season could be our best yet.

Devin Hester was robbed. Briggs came up big. Hasslebeck is a pansy. Gould is the mang.

Heh, Rex is sitting about 20 feet away from me right now, doing an interview with the guys in the sports studio. Pretty humble guy, nice to have around.

Let me guess - Vikes/Pack fan? Only thing worse than a bandwagon fan : a hometown hater. Reminds me of the jerkoffs that would root for the Cowboys out of spite when I was a kid just because we lived in Redskin country.

tough to be called a hometown hater when your roots are in a different state.... but regardless, bear fans are about as loud and annoying as boston red sox fans.... except boston fans are visible when the team sux, something i didnt see from bear fans..... chicago is the ultimate bandwagon city... minus a few hard core fans for each team (i normally respect those fans even if i find them annoying) the city is so wishy-washy its disgusting..

**edit:ill stop hating now and let you enjoy this week in peace....**

Liar! You're not Red Baron and you don't live in Chicago. The real Red Baron would have called by now.

Ummm, that would be Chicago's 9 national titles...second only to the Packers 12 I should mention. Not much of a dynasty lately, but things can always change...

(I should mention that I'm a Packers fan, and while I'll hate the Bears everytime they play the Packers...I'll cheer for any NFC North team in the playoffs)

    Mars,

Don't be lumping this in with us folks up north. We have are own problems, like a shitty team that can never get the job done, or our last SB appearence coming in 1977(yeah I was 10 years old), things like that.

    Good Luck,
    Jay

    Freshies:
Can you re-book your trip or will you get bent-over and loose the $$$?
Watching the Bears in the nfc title game might be a once in a lifetime experience, (unless you were there the last time around). As we all know te PACK will be back to the top of the central div. next year....so if you have a chance to catch that game with your Dad and it won't cost you too much....DO IT!

If you're here, there are better places to watch the game the the SRB! The Silver $ at the Wort has a big screen WITH AUDIO and Sidewinders will have it on almost every set with audio too. If bars don't do it for you, your welcome to join in at my place.... there should be a handful of Bears and Packers fans throwing PBR cans at the flatscreen when Rex fumbles. PM me if that interests you.

You soooo need to do all you can to get back there and go to that game in person... those fans are rabid and would be one hell of an experience (partying/rioting in the streets!!) if they managed to win that game. Dont kno if I could name a stadium that would be more electrifying at any point of the year than soldiers field this weekend...

damn, my buddies already booked the lodging in jackson: if i bail now, i will be known as "that ass-hole"...

so looks like I am coming to Jackson to ski icy groomers in -15 degree temps with a gaper neoprine face-mask - not - (where does one buy one of these?) and will watch the Bears game somwhere in town that Sunday morning.

dude, c'mon. i might fly home from Austria if i get a ticket. bears for sure.

if you have a ticket, give it to me, im a good luck charm. last time i left the country the cubs had there huge fiasco (yeah marlins, i love you). and last time i moved back to chicago the Sox won the World Series (my father and my best day ever). then again, ive been to a few blackhawks playoff games in my life..........

    mnflyfish-

Sorry for the slight - I was just guessing who one would root for if they were in Chicago and hated the Bears. No dis on your Vikes; you guys have enough problems...(not like my Redskins don't either)
