EC weather nerds--give me a forecast!

When is it snowing, where, and how much? I'm looking at skiing Tuesday/Wednesday, so I'd like to know. I'm hearing all sorts of different stuff about rain/snow/ice and can't make sense of it. So tell me, beyond all doubt, what's going to happen and when.

From what I read the storm's energy will be expended between rt 4 and rt 2 in VT. I'm not sure about Maine or NH, but I'm going up to ski with cant dog at either stowe or Bolton monday and maybe the bush or MRG tuesday.

In quechee 7 to 13 inches total is predicted through tomorrow with possible additional accumulations tomorrow night. I can only guess the mountains would get more. Hears to hoping Mad River opens next weekend

www.necn.com usually has accurate new england weather. They are predicting 8-12 for northern nh and vt monday and monday night.
Battle lines being drawn, nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong, old people speaking their minds, getting so much resistance from behind.

Forecast: suck, some more suck, followed by a whole lot more suck.
The only thing worse than the feeling that you are going to die is the realization that you probably won't.

Thanks, sadly it sounds like the lobstah might be right:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED... ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS CANCELLED THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN VERMONT WHICH WAS IN EFFECT THIS EVENING. A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY.

TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 7 INCHES IS EXPECTED BY MONDAY NIGHT...ESPECIALLY OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF RUTLAND AND WINDSOR COUNTIES. SOME SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED OVER THE SOUTHERN PART OF RUTLAND AND WINDSOR COUNTIES.

ICE ACCUMULATIONS MAY RESULT IN POWER OUTAGES DUE TO DOWNED TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES.

POCKETS OF LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT. A MIX OF SNOW... SLEET...AND FREEZING RAIN WILL REDEVELOP ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL VERMONT BY DAWN AND WILL CONTINUE ALL DAY MONDAY...ENDING AS SNOW SHOWERS MONDAY NIGHT.

TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE HAZARDOUS TOMORROW DUE TO VERY LOW VISIBILITY AND POOR TRACTION ON SNOW AND ICE COVERED ROADS. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL... LEAVE PLENTY OF EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION. BE SURE TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY KIT IN YOUR CAR...AND WEAR PROPER WINTER CLOTHING.

I guess I'm planning for K on Tuesday, and hoping the sleet/rain is snow up on the hill.
Anyone think it's going to be significantly better further north?
