The Driggs weather station was reporting -28 at 7:00 this morning. It was -20 at my house then. At 11:00am it was -15 in Victor and I was attempting to work. Half an hour of that shit and I was outta there. It was much warmer up at the Ghee. It was t-shirt weather at the base and I had sweaty balls on Mary's Nipple under the bright blue sky.

Do you by chance happen to own a large, yellowish, very flat cat?

The leftovers at Bridger were pretty nice...with the low temps, what could be found was nice and light...lift lines were non-existent. But yeah, the -18 or so was a bitch.

-15 F without windchill in the Missoula backcountry this morning when we pulled in to unload the sleds. 1 mile later my buddies nose was bone white. Luckily I had fashioned a nose protector from a 6 pack box. Once up top temps were in the teens .

    Um, yeah it kinda does.

Of course in the bananna belt of Montana, Snowbowl's summit was -10 yesterday at noon, today it was 2 at 11 am. The snow was slow but dry and breakable.
