    Great info.

    It would be nice to see more use of video in the daily updates. But to counter point that some people would simply become reliant on the posted video and not dig their own pits.

    I think that's already happening. Folks want to see other folks pit data, but they actually never dig their own pits. I've had folks ask me what my pits have showen, but they never have any pit data when I ask them in return what they found.

    Ya good links. The videos really illustrate potential weakness in the snowpack.

    The value of pits for the average rider is debatable though - the 3x3 method which just uses the avie report for a large part of the decision making process to eliminate risk is superior.
