i suggest an overnight down at Andermatt.
never been and would like to see/ski it. i can carry 3 takers in my wagon.

hemas, u planning on staying at the hostel?
Yah, will be there with my fellow telemarkin finn, the hostel that is.

And if the conditions are bad, we might end up doing some touring under the guidance of yet another finn... This one lives in CH, though.

I think AirBerlin flies from London to Zurich, and they are rather cheap. Then it's just a few trainrides to Engelberg (get to Zurich Hbf, then to Lucern and then to Eberg).

http://www.familienherberge.ch/ is a cheap and nice option for housing.

Last year was fun and deep (though I was a bit late to the party... But then again my timing was spot on, ~over 50cm of fresh fell during my night of travel ).

    Damn PhD thesis

Tell me about it... I'm doing my MSc. thesis at the same time, but figured I need a break from it after busting my ass doing it for roughly 3 month already.

Granted a PhD is going to be much more work, but mebbe you can persuade Roo to visit beatiful Norway in the end of May or Beginning of March... Stryn summerski resort is opening at around then.

A May trip to Norway could be a very nice birthday present. it's true. I'll start hinting now.

Bump... I'll be there no matter what happens...

But I suck at this skiing thing and have broken bindings, so no real need to ski with me.

    Beer will be good though.

I might want to join if the planned trip with my regular skiing partner falls in the water like it looks now.

S.... I was talkin' about the weather (ie. snow and such crap)... And wasn't even planning on joining the Gimp-club...

    Oh well, such is life...

Atleast I still have a change of hitting Stryn, and time to write about a dozen or so TR's from the lest year or so.
