    St Anton, Again..

Whats up, just wanted to see if anyone else was still here? Commish, sorry we didnt get to take any turns together, that would have been nice to see the Mtn with someone who knows the hidden stashes. OUr landlord just showed us pictures from last Christmas when there was a 3 meter wall of snow up both sides of the walkway. Bummer. We did find some pretty solid stashes left today off of SchindlersList which could be pretty nasty when the next storm rolls in. Here is me dropping a few of the little hits we found....

And whenever anyone else arrives in town, let me know if you want to make some turns.
    Later on

ps - sorry the pics are so big, first time i tried hosting them somewhere else

I was told that everyone was ok. I wouldn't say that is definite, but a few people said everyone was ok...

I'm going up to SR for a couple days next week. Any chance you wanna make some turns on the 17th?

Was also in st anton this weekend, only skied on saturday and the snow was pretty decent, no powder but soft. Apparantly Zurs was the place to be with few tracks and no one around. Didnt bother to ski on Sunday because it was raining when I got up.

Really high risk of avalanches there at the moment. Talking to some of my mates who are instructors, there were 6 avie call outs on Friday alone. 2 people were caught in slides on the backside of rendl - 1 without a beacon - they dug him out after 30 mins and he was sucessfully rescuscitated, the other had a beacon and was dug out after about 10 mins. Apparantly also a slide in Schöngraben with someone partially buried. There were also apparantly a couple of people caught in slides in Lech but dont know the details.

No go for the 17th as I am working that day. Looks like we will miss in Anton also as I am getting in for my second trip on the 10th. Maybe another time.
