    mounting 900s w/out plates

    cand i mount a 900s equipe sans plastic, 2 piece, yellow drive+ plate?


    tried searching already, but i know this has probably been covered.

    i assume your heel has the little plastic step and the two little plastic nubs that stick out on the rearmost holes. If so, you *could*, but I wouldnt. I dont like the load distribution with that step and those nubs.

    do you need a pair of the plates? A couple people here have them. I know because I needed a pair not too long ago.

    I have two pairs of skis mounted like this and have never had a problem.

    let it be known I still personally wouldnt, just because im an anal engineer type. Ive definitely done a lot worse stuff, but i like to keep myself honest as much as possible.

    i have the plates, i just don't like risers under my feet.

    i'm gonna give funken's mounting techniques a try.

    Are you talking about the ~10mm riser plates (one for toe one for heel) or the little plastic shim? I assume you know the difference but just pointing it out in case.
