I'm most of the way through a really good bottle of Zin, BV 2001, after a day at Alpine where I ran into Freshies and crew. Nice people, and the skiing was good, though the snow was difficult. Looking forward to what is supposed to be a big storm this week.

Anyway, some random and tired from skiing red wine buzz thoughts...

Best cocktail...the Old Fashioned, made properly with orange and lemon and a good dash of bitters. No need for fancy bourbon, Beam will do.

Those glasses look pretty fukkin gay, Irul. But they look good on women. I picked them up with a bunch of goggles I wanted to test while bargain hunting for PM Gear. Some of the goggles worked quite well and were really cheap because they were single lens. I was thinking of offering these single lens goggles as low cost backups (or primary goggles) for people who don't have a bundle to drop on a lens.

So - would you or someone you know buy those Yoko glasses- or a single lens goggle?

Its pretty easy to get double lens cheap at Big 5 type stores and by mail order like Sierra Trading Post; I routinely see them at <$20.
