I came across a post on Reno Craigslist about a guy trying to get a class together for building skis/snowboards. Right now, he is trying to find out how many people would be interested. Here is the link to his post:

I contacted him, and he appears to have the experience. Here is what he said:
"I have been building things in composites for over 30 years. I built skis for many ski makers (Dura-Fiber, The Ski, Head, Fischer, Olin, Atomic et al and snowboard companies (prototypes) All the different processes will be discussed in the class and your choice of how to build them will be your own and according to your check book. Different processes have different costs."

It sounds like a cool thing. Send him an E-mail if you are interested.

As of Today ( 1/20/07 )I have 4 slots left in the Wed class. I have 20 slots open in the second Thursday class..If anybody is interested log onto www.tmcc.edu
