Snow is in Conifer. I've been shoveling my ass off for 12 hours!

Left Cherry Creek at 4:45 rolled into Frisco at 6:30...not a problem anywhere on the drive except 70 between Morrison and Evergreen........
11pm - Clearing in Breck, lights from the cats on the mountain are visible. Maybe 4-6". Sucks.
Feel sorry for the poor bastards still sittin' on 70 East bound.

So it's sounding like Loveland is getting the goods. See you guys there if I can make it through Denver and I70.
holy crap it is warm. It's reading like 27 here. I wish it would fucking chill off already. Tress are already snapping. I don't know wtf the neighbors with christmas lights are thinking. I got Grizwald down the street probably going to shut the block down when his tilt-a-whirl gets ripped down off of the roof.
Colder would be better for i70 to get rid of the slush, let it go ahead and freeze and pack. Surprized homes ^ there a few posts got through the two closures. It was shut around 3 ish, and then again when I checked cdot @ 9
saying they are open again now. Thinking about leaving now....might get first chair.
I just landed in Denver at 8:00pm. I got home at ~10:00. The whole airport was pretty slow. Plus the ride to the Pikes Peak Lot.
The reads were pretty much OK by the airport, but got progressively worse as I headed wast. Ultimately, 58 was closed at McIntyre street and I had to detour behind Coors...
I got home to find my brand new Praxis boards waiting for me!!! Damn, I wish they were mounted.
Hopefully I can get up to SUCO tomorrow morning/afternoon. Lets keep the road updates coming guys!
We drove from Keystone to Buena Vista this evening, Breck and Hoosier were a shit show. There were periods of near white out in N. Park county with the blowing snow and the snow coming down. I think we're just going to go off the first snow reports in the morning and go anywhere within a 4 hour drive.

formerly an ambassador for a few others, but the ski industry is... interesting.
Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
Eldora - 16"
Loveland - 9"
A Basin - 6"
WP - 4.5"![]()
Breck - 4"
Keystone - 2"![]()
not as big as expected for SuCo, eh?
even the front range doesn't seem all that bad...I'll bet the airport and roads are up and running no prob by midday. Well, the airport at least. The roads will get clogged with people who shouldn't be driving...
Hmmm, what to do...what to do...
Thrutchworthy Production Services
Eldora is the winner again. Dont want to drop $56 so...
I'm heading to Lland - cause got 3 friends with passes and no backcountry travel gear otherwise I'd hit a front range tour.
I have to buy a ticket at Loveland or Eldora, not sure what to do, suggestions? Tour?
fuckit, im going to Eldora

This second storm seems to be fizzling out as well- or just heading east.
don't lose hope
THIS STORM TRACK COULD ALSO PRODUCE HEAVY SNOWFALL FOR THE REST OF
THE PLAINS OF NORTHEAST COLORADO...THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS AND
HIGHER MOUNTAINS EAST OF THE DIVIDE FOR MUCH OF THE WEEKEND. THIS
INCLUDES THE DENVER METRO AREA AND ALL THE URBAN CORRIDOR. THERE
ARE STILL UNCERTAINTIES REGARDING THE DURATION OF THE HEAVY SNOW
AFTER TODAY AND WHETHER HEAVY SNOW WILL REDEVELOP NEAR THE
MOUNTAINS THIS WEEKEND. BECAUSE OF THIS A WINTER STORM WATCH
CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS
AND FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS...AND THE PLAINS THROUGH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON.
Ya. Only looks like 14 inches so far at my house. Slept in and not going to shovel until I've had my cream-o-wheat.
I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

^^^ Loveland? I'll be there.
I didn't want to fuck with the traffic getting thru Denver and I-70, and I especially didn't want to get stuck coming back tonight if this second storm rolls in. Besides, with only 9" up there today, chances are it'll be better and deeper tomorrow with the new snow.
Also, my g/f needs her Impreza for work today, which leaves me with my little 2WD w/snow tires Mazda3... I didn't want to get stuck in that thing.
