This frustrating. I just dropped a dime on a new album off of iTunes, instead of hitting up the shadier intraweb spots. I am on my friend's computer, which I assumed was authorized for my account. I logged into my iTunes account on his computer and purchased an album. It downloaded into his library instead of mine (I made the incorrect assumption that if my iPod was plugged into his computer and I logged in using my account info, any downloaded music would copy onto my pod--wrong). After trying to drag it into my iPod, I was notified that I had already authorized 5 other computers and had hit the limit.
So here I am sitting here with music in my buddy's library (which he cannot play because he cannot get authorized since I apparently have 5 computers authorized) and I cannot drag it into my iPod (same reason). They got my $$$ and the music is sitting in some sort of iPod pergatory.
I am assuming that I have to deauthorize a computer and then reauthorize his. Problem: I cannot deauthorize a computer that I am not connected to, nor can I even think of any computers that I authorized beside my work computer (which I will not deauthorize).
Any help would be great. The man is keeping me down.
