    Rear Entry Boot problem...............

So I was shredding it up in Whislter last week on Spanky's Ladder when all the sudden my foot popped out of my boot. Luckly it was at the end of the run (no injury). I'm thinking I sure tighten the cables up or maybe a new custom footbed is what I need? Yes?

Let me know if anyone else has had this problem in the past.

    Thank-you.

Make sure the pant legs on your one piece are not fouling the rear buckle.

Thankfully I had my onepiece on to prevent any snow up the back.

did you have any tofurkey or edamame before skiing that day??? Those things can make your joints lax and possibly contribute to de-booting.

It's a rear entry boot that clearly has no problems seen with a very few rear entry boots so spending lots of money on it is your best bet. Find the best bootfitter (snocovers) and take some beer, your visa, your boots and sit back while they work their magic and rack up your credit limit. It'll be a good time for everyone.

Maybe a thicker sock...or better yet..two pair of socks.

Could the sturrup from your in the boot stretch pant be the issue?

Which one you referring to. I mean really I just assumed this was a half hearted troll for laughs. You're the asshole in a rear entry boot that your foot falls out of.

YOUR FOOT FALLS OUT OF IT! You want a serious answer?! Go out and buy a new boot that has some resemblance to the shape of your foot and you might experience actually skiing when you have something on THAT YOUR FOOT DOESN'T FALL OUT OF. Asshole indeed! My asshole has more intelligent things that come out of it than your brain apparently.

I've found cotton to be the best material at holding a foot in place. Two pairs of those and you will be warm and secure.

I can't believe I am even posting in this utterly worthless thread but work is slooooow. This could be the worst attempt at a funny thread ever. I would give it second worst but since this is the second(or maybe third?) time you have started a rear entry boot thread it gets pushed up into the top spot. Bravo.

Hey, I can relate, I had the same problem once, in 1976 when rear boots were the shitz. There is a simple solution, up grade to modern technology. Your straight skis could to with a little help too. And loose the fartbag too.

Well gotta rock it old school. Got the rear entry with the Look ZR's and the new school "old school" Seth Pistols. Sid would be proud.

Common' people...if you don't think that's funny you have no sense of humor...try tightening the belt on your one piece and unzipping your fanny pack. It will act as a spoiler if open and actually hold you down on the snow so you won't come out of your rear-entries...And make sure your Vaurnets are clear of fog and snow so you can see your pink K2 logos on your KVCs tearing it up. On second thought you should probably just wear jeans tucked in the rear-entries and a Starter jacket; preferably a dirty Dallas Cowboys model. Then throw in a huge dip and plow into the lift line while surfing your tails.
If it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it
