i am sure there are some out there getting thiers, but most of the snow is in the plains and locally 2-3ft. But the mtns got less and where the mtns did get hammered the avy danger is off the richter scale. [end justification for not being able to get out of my hood]

As somebody who basically contributes nothing (for the time being, maybe that will change someday), I just have to say thanks very, very, very much to everybody that posts great TRs. It makes my day. Go get it.

The dogs had over the head all afternoon at the park. Today I shovelled tunnels for them in the yard so they could take care of business.

We can get out of our driveway, but not sure how far we can get. Still snowing here in Boulder and we are hoping to get to Wolf Creek tonight. If we can get a ways west, the roads are much better. Lets see what CDOT can do for us.

Be safe out there. Avy danger is very high in the Front Range and very high in the San Juans.

I can't ski this year - ankle injury, but here's some pics from Boulder. Looking forward to the TR's in the next few days.

30" at least at my house in Erie, with an easy 40"+ in my driveway. That was a nice workout. Our neighbor has a plow, so we're OK getting out, but there's no way most people can even get off their street due to the 2-3 feet of snow.

I am going to score a first descent of Table Mountain. Huck the hundred plus foot rock spire, then straightline it to the road.

Seriously though, there is a shit ton of snow in Denvah. Worse is today is the day I decided to take off to help heal my blisters after six consec days of skiing.

Just thought yous alls would like to know that there is total bluebird here in the high(er) country shining down on a brand spankin' new 1-2 feet, clean white and fluff. And the wind hasn't started yet.

(most of this came in a day sooner than what you got down there)

    6" more than we got..
and if the forecasts hold, it'll be about 18" more than we got - the inch or two of rain that storm is going to bring us is going to take a foot off our base. at least.

I have pictures of Red Rocks skiers from the storm three (i think that was when it was) years ago. I will have to dig around to find them.

Edit to add pic. It's a crappy montage from an email someone sent. Sorry
