Differences between Look PX12 TI Lifter and PX12 TI SMU?

Is it simply the lifter has the riser plate and longer screws?

yes, I bought both off of SAC. Shoot first, ask questions later
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

SMU = Special make up. Which means it is a special color way that the US had made to go with a particular ski.

What about vs. the plain old PX12 that was up a day or two earlier? Titanium vs what?

I was wondering that myself. I was able to snag those PX12 TI SMU yesterday on SAC. I'm stoked to get them, and they should match up with the Mantras very well! I think the only thing I'll have to do is stretch the breaks out to fit the wide ski. Is that reccomended?

Actually, I weighed both sets of bindings and the Ti comes in a bit heavier than the standard PX12 by half a pound/pair or so. I'm assuming this is because that even though it is made with titanium, metal is still heavier (albeit more durable) than plastic.
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.
