Does anyone know if the hole pattern for 647/747 solly's is the same as the 912/914 etc hole pattern? Thanks

No it isn't, they have different heel patterns. Everything after the 747 is the same though (757 and on).
Move along nothing to see here.

yup. the overall length of the 747's are shorter thant the overall length of the more recent 957/900/914 types. the front and back holes are the same width though, so you could re-use 2 hole if you wanted too...
