career counseling - product reps

Hey, whats going on? I was just wondering if anyone on this forum was a product rep for anything (dont care what as long as it is related to sports/athletics) and how did you get started in that field? I graduated from college with a degree I dont plan on using and would love to get into a field like being a product rep or something similar.... Any info on said topic would be appreciated either in here or via PM... thanks

Just remember, what ever product you rep, you won't have time to use. I have a friend whos a fly rod rep, and he's alwaysasking me to email him pictures and updates about my fishing trips,'cause he has a meeting with a buyer at Gander Mtn, or Cabelas. Same is true for a lot of reps in the ski business I know. Find a nice 9-5er that let's you work from home, then "have a meeting" on pow days.
