    Mount gotama telemark?

    Hello my lovely tele-nerds
I have some 190 gotamas that used to have bd 02s mounted to volkl boot center, that was perfect for schmear turns and okay all around but mostly too far forward for steeps deeps etc.
I'm remounting further back w/ hammerheads, this will be the third drilling, so I want to get it perfect. How are your's mounted? any advice?
    thanks

mine are about 1.5 cm back, really like them there.

sounds like your position might be dictated by existing holes though (?)

You cant mount those tele. They are too big and arent designed for telemarking

that's funny, reminds me of a conversation in the liftline @ moonlight last year:

-Are those the T-Rocks? I've been looking forward to demoing a pair.
    - nope, they're gotamas
-huhmmm, mummbly mumble, procceeds to lose interest, blow me off, wander away.

I used to run a pair with some Hammerheads on them. I found Cord center and then the balance point. Then I just split the difference and mounted the pins on that point. Worked out pretty well for me.

My 7tms are also mounted about 1.5 cm back of the alpine point (basically I think you want to mount them the same as alpine but account for the length of the duckbill, hence the 1.5 cm back). Lovin the silky smooth power in the soft snow with these. They handled the breakable crust and ice (to get to the pow) at Mt. Bailey yesterday pretty well too.

mine are right at pins on chord (tip to rear contact point) 27.0 boot. perfect.

Lines up to just about alpine boot center (the "I" on the sidewall).
