Why do I torture myself??

So I'm sitting here studying for a final exam that I have tomorrow (I know, it's on Saturday, UBC sucks), and I think "hey, it rained a lot last night, I wonder how much snow the mountains got". So I dial up the snowphone to hear that Whistler got 50cm of new snow overnight!

Now I'm sitting here reading over my damned thermodynamics notes, completely distracted by thoughts of pillow lines and powder turns. The worst part is that the alpine lifts aren't open today, but will open tomorrow, when I'm sitting in the exam room.

Ive got 2 finals tomorrow.....at least the snow sucks here right now, so im only distracted by the prime 18-22 year old pussies that keep walking by me in this study lounge.....

I have no sympathy for saturday finals. Throughout the 5 years of my degree (co-op engineerding), i had no less than 15 saturday exams, occasionally, two exams on a single saturday. I wasn't one hour from mountains though. Now I am 8000 miles away from the best season in the rockies in the last 5 years.
