    Frame Grabs from Quicktime video?

So I got a film I made on 16mm transfered to DVD, but I want to make a new DVD with a menu and my soundtrack added in iDVD. How do I grab frames and make them .gif or .jpeg from Quicktime Player? I just want some frames for the menu of the DVD.

    Thanks

edit to add: I also have no idea what the fuck I am doing.....I have roxio 7 titanium also. I want to take my Quicktime video and synch it up with the .WAV of my soundtrack....whats the best way to do this?

I *think* you could pull them as screenshots. However, this is a pretty clumsy (and possibly a last-ditch, worst-case, shit's-due-in-an-hour) solution.

Cmd-shift-3 for whole screen, Cmd-shift-4 for selection

You can screencap in Quicktime Pro
The only thing worse than the feeling that you are going to die is the realization that you probably won't.

thanks, easy all hell to capture

the DVD actually turned out pretty good, but the sloppy transfer added a faint white strip to some of the video...
