We'll have to do that loveland project later in the season.

No need to mount them any more forward skiergirl, it's a good place.
Thanks for the info. Can't wait!

I'm just trying to clarify who is who, it helps following along on these TR's.
I'm one of the co-founders and owners of PM Gear. Since we've been operating, I've been responsible for developing our websites and online shopping systems -- we've had 3 or 4 versions now, the first several I made myself. I supervised the development of our current website, but the actual design work was done by Artisan. I also maintain the PM Gear message board, which is the company's primary means of internal communication.

Splat does most of the real work - I'm just an enabler

Awesome Shera! Those look bad-ass! Too bad I can't use mine, because it doesn't snow in Nevada anymore. That's why I finally washed all the salt and sand grime off of my truck yesterday.

Thanks for the TR. Those skis are badass. It was really nice to see the entire process. Also glad everything worked out for you after the theft of your old skis.

Skiergirl, you will love your 179 softs. I skied mine for the first time last weekend and was amazed. I don't know what you are skiing now but but two things I noticed immediately (cmpared to my Atomic m 10's) were the very light weight and absolutly no chatter.

Those are some awesome-looking skis. It's pretty cool to hear the details about how they're made, too. Nice!

Yes, indeedy. Especially when you're involved.

Thanks for the props everybody. I spend all my daydreaming time now planning and plotting 14er tours, most especially the Elks.

Splat took the words right out of my mouth.

This was a great read and the pix were worth more'n 2000 words.

SheRa, I take it you went with the "manly" 188's, eh?

Now I am even more intrigued by these skis...
