anyone wearing the arc teryx scorpion?

Hey just looking for a review on the arc teryx scorpion. I have been wearing a phenix jacket (picked up at gear swap so dont kno the model) for longer than i can remember and its time to replace it. I tried on the scorpion the other day and realized how thin/light it was, never having worn a shell before how warm do they keep you on a day in the mid 20s? do you need to wear lots of heavy clothes under or just an under armor type of shirt? I searched for threads but wasnt able to find much (maybe i am a moron who cant search efficiently)...

If you've been used to wearing an insulated jacket, the shell by itself isn't going to keep you warm. You do need a insulating layer(s) underneath. Get a good thermal fleece for a mid layer

just scored some scorpion pants-super comfortable and plenty warm enough for all but the very, very cold days. also, the fit is looser than other arc'teryx pants i've worn.
