    p14 lifter conversion to p14

    hey look experts, can the lift plate on the P14 lifter be removed to create a p14 without negatively affecting binder performance?

    no one's ever talked about this before...
    make sure when you remove the lifters NOT to use shorter screws so they go through the base. that's what all the core people are doing on NewSchoolers. and they're core.

    Sure can, in fact the only dif between the p14 and the p14 lifter were the plates and screws.

    Find a knowledgeable shop, tell them to dump the plates and get new shorter screws and you'll have the p14.

    Just about to mount up a pair of these myself with the same conversion. Screw length is key.
