it will probably be one or the other- gotta keep the options open
I also understand we have some guests to entertain this weekend- they surely cannot miss a monseiur (sp?) highman tour from the Mullah himself on saturday, no?

I need to ski. SOON. Thursday morning Nash will be done at lightspeed.

those than can should also be careful...

    TUESDAY NIGHT, WEDNESDAY MORNING
Moderate to heavy rain or snow, brief but significant
warming especially in the south, and increasingly strong
winds are expected Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
More cohesive and dense wind slabs should load and stress
weaker new snow layers deposited earlier Tuesday and
produce a significant increase in the danger, with new
natural and human triggered slabs becoming increasingly
likely Wednesday morning, especially in the Olympics and
northern and central Washington Cascades where largest
recent snowfall was received. This substantially
developing danger should be accentuated on north through
east exposures near higher ridgelines and on west facing
slopes near the Cascade passes. As a result of the
expected danger, back country travel in avalanche terrain
is not recommended. Also, while most avalanching should
involve only the most recently deposited wind slabs, due
to the high rates of loading expected some isolated
deeper slides at higher elevations may reach the old
crust formed during the fair, warmer weather received
    last week.

You have no idea how honored I would be, in this the last year of our Northback, hallowed be her name, virgin, liftless with all her charms hidden beyond the seven cedar veils. Or were they Doug fir? Eschewed by boarders due to the hellish Ho Chi Minh trail.

Anyway, you realize that there are constraints..requirements..necessities. Homage must be paid, prayers uttered, goats molested, ululations emitted and worst of all, be at Chinook by 7:45.

Noted as well, but hopefully the fl lift will be a short lived blip like last night. Crustal picked up 13" and it stayed cold up high.
