Lost My Job Today....so I bought but some skins

Well yesterday at work the "boss" told me she didn't think I was good enough for her. ( i think she overheard me talking to a co-worker about kicking myself in the ass and not getting paid 12.00/hr to bump asses at moonlight this year, as well as plans to startup a painting business this summer) She said its just not working out and she would try and find me something else in the store. (I worked a one of those trendy/yuppy fuck food co-ops) Her plan was to let me spend another day toiling in the cooler/freezer moving a few thousand pounds of dairy around just to "let me go" at the end of the day. So....fuck her. I stayed home and ordered another pair of 85mm clipfix w/ blemishes for 49 bucks. Figured "Same price as a lift ticket only now I can't afford weekly lift tickets!". Fuckin jobs can kiss my ass!! I'm gonna hit the bc instead.

Not to be an asshole or anything, but didn't you mention in another thread that your wife is pregnant? Maybe not the most ideal time to bail on a lease and be a liftie...but hey, if the GFS didn't work out for you...

Sounds like a good plan, just don't be a leech on society. Not working can be a good thing during ski season.

I hear ya!! I though long and hard about it. It was the wife who told me not to go. She said "Fuck em if there gonna fire you, its no big deal just another job."

of course I'll be hittin up labor ready as I've always done in the past... 90% of the time I land a cool cash under the table gig that pays me better than most of the jobs in zoo-town.

agreed! Besides, my landlord is a helluva lot cooler than my boss. I don't want to screw them. I'll stay in zoo-town til summer and paint my ass off so neither of us will have to work next winter.

well, I just talked to a lady about a job as a barista (i've been one for years) and she wants to hire me ASAP. She say she'll give me the busy shift (early a.m) which means good tips and skiing at the bowl in the afternoon. Kewl.

Sheeit. After reading elguapo's post I ran out and bought two studfinders (figured two would make me look extra safe). Now I can hit the bc by myself AND impress the ladies during lunch.

    Got em from www.mountaintimesports.com

Called the guy this morning before he hit the slopes and he told me he'd send them right away. The last pair I ordered from them got to my door super quick.

He should give me a discount for that shameless plug i just did!!
