Has anyone had a problem with the BD Clip Fix Ascension Skins? The clip isn't wide enough to fit over the tail on the Fischer Big Stix. Anybody else come across this problem?

I guessing anyone who used a Clip Fix tail rig on a 106 has had this problem. Use the search function, its up and on the right. Alot of BC stuff doesn't work great out of the box. Don't be afraid to make some modifications. Try either bending the Clip Fix or grind/dremmel down the tail of the ski.

Shit! I just ordered those for my 106s. Now I find out there's a problem.
Living vicariously through myself.
Are we talking about the tail or the tip....I have the ascension black diamond skins and can see how there could be a problem with very wide tips, but at the tail the clip should be easy enough to bend to fit.....maybe my model is different....I have a metal loop at the tip and a clip at the tail. The metal loop at the tip just barely hangs on to 10ex's but they do work.
The problem is the clipfix tail thingy is junk......the elasticated tail clip form G3 is much better...unfortunatley I have the former
The clipfix seems to work fine on my Atomic tenex's...no problems so far.
You don't need freerides when you got freeheels
The clip fix works, though it's not as nice as the elastic tail hooks (G3 and BD GlideLite). I lose mine from time to time and have to reclip it. Especially nice to do on steep crap. But all in all, it works pretty well, as long as you've sized the skin so that there's enough tension.
