intermediate ski ??

i am looking to buy some new boards for my mom as a suprise.
she is a solid intermediate, skis mostly groomers, buti want to get her something a little beefier for the spring slop and crud.
She is about 5'3, 130 maybe?? She is on 164 Volkl Carver plus somethings or others right now. I am looking for something fairly cheap, a little wider, at least 72mm ish underfoot?? Any ideas??

go for twins. they're a tad forward mounted, but can still float ok for deepers snow and are forgiving. maybe a volkl v in a 168?

ah hah...good idea. then i could reach her to ski switch too.
maybe a 1080 in a little length...

1080 is a great little pow ski too for lightweights. watchout though, it's shit on ice.
