Anybody know about Kappa Delta Pi?

Since I saw another thread asking if people had been in a frat or sorority, i have a ? about one. Can someone tell me about Kappa Delta Pi? I have been invited to join and all i know is it is a "scholastic" frat because of "outstanding scholastic achievements in the field of education". I am NOT tooting my own horn here, just trying to find out if this frat has pissing contests over who's g-nome research study mapping how the dna sub-structure makes hippies granola hugging tree eating stink bait blah blah blah...prevailed and why the other person's urine did not have enough blah blah blah to win the contest,...I DON'T want to be a member of something that has all the braniacs who have nothing better to do than rip the rest of the world apart because they are "better".

Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.

Seize the day, trusting little in the future.

if you want something, go after it. if you want to screw someone over, look DEEP in your heart and realize Karma is a bitch

Kappa Delta Pi is good for your resume. Do it.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

It's not a Secret Social Fraternity, but more an honors society like Phi Beta Sigma.

Also other than looking good on a resume, I know the the History fraternity I was invited to join would have gotten me better pay if I had taken a government job. Paying a small membership fee to get a couple extra grand on your first job sounds like a no brainer. I don't know if this is the case with Kappa Delta Pi but I would at least go to the meeting to find out.

Most of these scholastic "frats" are much better described as clubs or organizations. I was in Phi Mu Alpha, a music "fraternity" that met once a week. No house, no hazing, minimal beer-bongs. Just dudes with a common interest. Seemed cheesy at first, but some of those guys are still buds 10 years and 1500 miles later.
