Hmm. I wonder if this will be enough to make places like Jay skiable off-trail.

Probably not. Unless they get the high end of the storm today/tomorrow (11 inches). Bring the rock boards either way.

    Cannon

Opens tomorrow for FREE skiing, Saturday and Sunday are $25 lift tickets. Wildcat opens tomorrow as well, but with little open...should be a locals party on Saturday and Sunday!

Could be looking at 4-6 inches at Cannon by the morning...Fridays are always easy when they're cut in half!

AMEN! By this time last year, I had skied 2 powder days in OCTOBER in Vermont. So far I've only managed 2 days on hardpack and ice. We need all the fresh we can get.

Finally. I'm hitting up the Bush on Saturday (maybe Sunday and Monday too) so this can't hurt.

I will be in NYC/NJ this weekend for the Jets-Bills game in the swamps of Jersey. You can all thank me for being out of VT this weekend for all the snow. You can all buy me a beer the next time you see me.

Jay is reporting 8-10" from overnight. Their website says the trees are a definite no-go, which sounds about right considering the overall slow start to the season. Should be a pretty decent day up there tomorrow.

I would be at Jay if my car wasn't on empty and I hadn't lost my wallet.

    Be careful out there folks

I know its been a shitty start to the year but don't go jumping into the trees and blow a knee or something, there are a lot of snowsnakes out there
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
