    Your Soccer Favorites

Since there are many international maggots on this board, and maybe some interested Americans also, I wanted to ask a few questions.

    1. Which National Team is your favorite?

    2. Which Club team is your favorite?

    3. Which player is your favorite to watch?

    1) argentina or france
2)Newcastle, chelsea before they became the yankees, even though the sheer amount of talent on the pitch is pretty amazing

    This is easy

    1. Which National Team is your favorite?
    - Austria (Immer wieder, immer wieder, immer wieder Österreich!)

    2. Which Club team is your favorite?
    - SK Sturm Graz

    3. Which player is your favorite to watch?
    - It used to be the great Austrian footballer Toni Polster, just because there was no-one in the game who could run so little and still score so many goals. Hir hair cut is tops too:

Of the players I have seen live, no-one comes even close to Maradona, but Zidane also was always a player to watch. Among the currently active players I'd say it's a close call between Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry.

    1. I suppose the U.S. and Italy. I always love watching Brazil when they are on form (unlike in the 06 World Cup). Argentina was easily the most exciting team to watch from the World Cup last year, as was Germany.

    2. I don't really support a single club. I'm from Massachusetts and have seen a lot of Revolution games so I'd say the Revs. For European clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal (impressive Champions League run last year), Juventus, Barca (first half of Tuesday's game was awesome), Villareal, Tottenham and whoever is fun to watch at the moment.

    3. I love to watch any great player dominate a game. Nedved had a few inspired performances in the World Cup and with Juventus. Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry are also favorites of mine. Ronaldinho is always eye dropping and can seem frantic and non-chalant at the same time. Henry is just so graceful. In the World Cup I enjoyed watching Sorin for Argentina (makes some exciting runs from the back), Riquelme, Klose, Robben, and above all Franck Ribery for France. He was always flying all over the field and was the primary reason that France made it as far as they did (although Zidane helped).

    There. I said a lot.

Satan Ibrahimovic? That guy breaks more noses as he scores goals. Biggest idiot on the european fields.
I remeber a friendly between the Netherlands and Sweden, he was redicoulous in that match. He tried to injure his Ajax teammate van der Vaart in that match.

Though he is a good player whenever he isn't trying to imitate Mike Tyson.
