I'm thinking 'boat MTWTh then F at WPMJ, we fly back to gomerville at 7pm.

Place should be empty, i think we're scorin cheap rooms at the Sheraton.

    Thumbs up

Squatch and I are trying to figure out when to use our 6 days there. Is the time now? We have until Feb. 14, but we'll both be gone for a good 3 weeks of that time.

Some more localized beta on conditions (i.e. coverage and worth-it-for-3-hr-drive-ness) would be much appreciated. Look forward to skiing with some of you guys when I make it up there.

It's a ski area in the NW corner of CO. It has a town near it that has many cowboys in it. There is beer there. Lift tickets cost more than Alta, but less than Vail. The nearest airport is in Montrose. The mountain's name is Werner, just like my Father in Law's, may he RIP. I've only been there in the summer. It was nice. I bought a barn jacket in some Cowboy store. We then had lunch and drove back to Vail. Brett jumps into a pond there with his skis on in the summer. Some dude got in trouble for giving tours for money near there. The Pass does not in fact look like a pair of rabbit ears.

That's all all the Beta I got, Holmes.

Well, if the forecast materializes, I'd love to meet up with some maggs and schralp the pow.

I've got one of those REI lift tickets that needs to be used by Thursday. So, if it's good, maybe one area day and one touring day (I probably can't break away for more than 2 days, unless it's just amazing).

Gosey - you probably know this already...they don't have a ton of terrain open in-area at this point, and not sure how close they are to opening more stuff...

Snow isn't so great right now. Some more will open this weekend... Elkhead at least, maaaaybe Sundown lift, haven't checked opening matrix lately, but that's the only new stuff that will probably open. Rabbit Ears coverage isn't too bad right now, a bit sketchy on some of the steeper pitches, but actually decently deep in places (and Tippster, the pass does in fact look like rabbit ears... there is a rock formation on the south side that looks basically identical to rabbit ears)... haven't been up to buff lately, but I imagine it has to be okay in places.

Ohio is staying in the same condo complex as us. Awww yeah.

Rabbits Ears looks like some Rabbit Ears from north park. Its not even a stretch. Has anyone seen profile rock or sleeping elephant? I always wanted to climb profile rock and hang off his nose like a booger.
