Nice "light at the end of the tunnel" article! My biggest fear when my wife was expecting my first was the complete change in lifestyle and the radically reduced number of days I would get on the mountain. I wish someone could have handed me a copy of this article back then.

That magazine looks awesome. I am seriously thinking about subscribing but I went way over budget on my periodical subscriptions when I subscribed to some dodgy PNW-based rag months before it's first issue. It better be good...

The Kootenays are high on my "to visit" list. I've met so many excellent people from there and the place just comes across so... awesome. Am I gushing?
