    Somebody x-post this to the "does anybody windsurf anymore" post. I'm pretty sure this guy does, now.

    That guy clearly had no clue what he was doing. He got real lucky he didn't get carried farther on the first gust. To not let go of the handle after that. What was he thinking? Didn't look like he was hooked in, maybe he had no leash and was worried about his expensive kite.

    I'm cringing.... that sounds savage. Crashing through an iron fence, his head getting slammed, lifted over the beach.... Yikes!!! I'm sticking to windsurfing and getting slammed on water...

    What about helmets? I always sailed with one in the gorge and whenever I'm on a 5.0 or smaller. It's dorky, but I've gotten slammed (and scarred) enough to not care about looks.
