    Little compilation vid

Some riding stuff over the last few months. Some of it from a video I already put up but that's mostly because I don't have a whole lot of footage yet and needed some filler.

Friends of various persuasions and me.

That second shot on the wooden ramp is exactly what I envisioned while thinking about the step up on Amasa.

Yup. And that was last march. He's doing tuck no hander threes now. That kid gets better every 5 minutes.

Funny about john.....he broke his wrist on the shore two days after I did my hamstring. The old double/jump over footage was last april and the stuff at the beginning was yesterday..... his first day on a bike in 3 months. He's a freakin machine. I felt like a mom yesterday though. He took a run through the doubles and I got on his case going "what the fuck do you think you're doing!!?" Of course I needed him to carry my bike and drive me home while I support the wieght of my own arm so we're even.

Yeah first day back on a bike in 3 months with an atrophied arm.....on a hardtail hitting everything at sandys...uh right.....

There is none unfortunately. Our plan was to take one run through, then film for the second. Top to bottom at that place is like riding the shore. You really need to know what's coming before you go into corners, jumps drops etc and it's too fun not to session. After our first run it was like 90 degrees, after noon and we were in a hurry to get up to whistler. We were talking about going back on the way home but I tore my hamstring and our driver broke his wrist while we were up there.

We were going to go back as soon as they got some rain but once it started, it never stopped. Winter doesn't seem to want to exist here so as soon as I can ride again, I'm going back. I'm still a rookie at filming and that was a painful lesson. Especially since no one got my grand slam on those doubles on video.

There's some footage of kurt vories riding there in the new NWD movie. They shot those doubles with a zipline and a fisheye so they look tiny. The fact that vories is just doing straight airs over them is telling though.

There's more of that in another video I put up a while back. Just a day and a half of riding with the second day being windy as hell. CS put up some awesome photos as well. Those are definitely worth digging up.

Thanks. Good shots by CS. Is that corkscrew in "the Empire" in the woods above Deer Valley / Park City? The only time I rode that area was with some PC locals who showed us some stunt trails that had a corkscrew stunt like that.
