Going Home
The road ahead is fraught with peril: of lessons learned and people spurned.
I leave behind a town of strangers: friends trusting and pow turns earned.

The road stretches down beneath me: wheels are clicking freedom learned.

The thoughts of good times, bad times whirling: threatening skis and my thoughts concerned

The mountains beckon calling deftly: A persons life, his direction turned.

A life of pow, of grace created: My goals, my passion, my love returned

The sun begins to set, it's fading: The trees appeared as though they burned

The road it streches long and narrow: I forge ahead, my home is near

The road it streches long and narrow: This place, this time, my home is here.

Where is that 5th picture taken? Geez, it's beautiful. Can you give us details?

#5 is a pic I snapped almost by accident from a heli. The runs before them are the ones that Rusty Nails and I did before those interlopers showed up.
#6 is a lake about 5 to 10 minutes behind my house
#7 is a shot from close to the top of the Worthington Ridge Trail in August.
edit - All pictures taken by me with the exception of #1 taken by Rusty Nails. All Pictures taken in AK.
