    Global Freeloading

Per this article in a Washington DC newspaper, there's a web-based cottage industry to 'pair travelers searching for a place to stay and hosts with a spare couch'.

They mention this website, www.globalfreeloaders.com, and you gotta love that name. Anyone tried it?

2nded. That shit will rot your brain. I do think it's hysterical that the most conservative daily in the country is owned by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon.

I know, I know. That article was linked to in Drudge Report a few weeks ago, just now catching up. With lots of people on here looking for a place to crash, I thought someone might have used these and wants to report back. It is odd that a conservative pub like the Wash Times covers this.

To complete the list, they also had www.place2stay.net listed.

^^^ Dude, read the article. One site has 200,000 users, and another one has 128,700. Way more coverage than on here.
