Chase Bank is running a credit card offer through the end of November (I believe) for a zero interest (purchases & balance xfers) Rewards Visa through March 2008 and 8.99% fixed thereafter. No annual fees or monthly maintenance charges. Obviously YMMV, but you might want to give them a call if you're shopping for a CC right now. I don't think I've ever seen a better offer.

I think this is the web link - I got mine a few weeks ago through the mail. Same card, some of the details vary a little from what I got though, but can't hurt to give them a call.

That's funny, I was just about to post the exact same thing.

On another note.......I know that someday I'll make it to Wilmington, Delaware, and I'll walk down the main street and see nothing but credit card companies - all of them - all on the same block.

There's only about 73,000 people in Wilmington. I'm guessing at least half of them work in a bank.

I have that card but it is 0% until April 2008. That's just a ridiculously long time from now.

You can have as many as you want, but lines of credit that you don't use actually bring down your credit score.
