    Tahoe Sucks for Thanksgiving
Wait... Doesn't Tahoe have a bunch of Hoes runnin' around with some bodacious Ta-tas? Hence the name Tahoe?
Sounds worth giving thanks to me.

I'd be riding if I hadn't trashed my shoulder. WSD is trying to get me to ride this weekend down in the bay, but I'm not so sure it's a bright idea. On the other hand, it we had 3 feet of blower I'd probably be out risking it right now. But I never fall on skis, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Don't trust anything you hear from Zippy. The Heave is going to rock this weekend!.....that is if they get the jongdola open at all with these blasting winds. Blackout days on both Friday and Saturday, so Sunday should be a perfect wind scraped semi decent concussion potential type of first day of the year at the Heave.

And Zip is on the bike too. He chose to wear all black last night so it would be especially tough for night time drivers to see him coming back from Coral on a busy Pioneer Trail - another brilliant move. But he rode the new singletrack by braile quite well. Even stopped before supermanning over the fallen tree near the bottom.

Never. I swear their wind trip goes off at 0.00001 mph.

That's a pretty accurate wind gauge.

Heavenly's all about accuracy. For instance, the Jongdola stops every 5 minutes and 58 seconds without fail.

Seriously. Someone needs to bitchslap them for their wind hold policy.

You know it'll be dumping that magical week between xmas and new years at the absolute latest. It's like science and stuff.
The biking is great right now... Just got back from the Mt.Rose Old/Chineese loop , froze my ass off on the downhill. Just looked and it's 26 degrees on slide mt with 75 mph gusts , 60mph sustained.

I expect you guys to be in full effect by the time I get there in mid/late december.

Basically, I want a repeat of last year and the year before that.

    That is all.

got a 1/2" of fresh at my house overnite, who knows what that might translate to at the top of the Heave or Kirkwood.

Someone was skiing yesterday in South Lake, guy came into the hospital with a history of "hit by snowboarder" and had a broken back. Just don't know what mountain he was at.

Heavenly's site is trash - the lift ticket rate for this week is no where to be found. Anyone know?

I was talking to God yesterday and asked him why he hasn't blessed us with snow yet. He told me that there's only so much to go around and he didn't want to waste it yet. Which of course implied he's saving it with something, so I asked him what that something was. His reply, "Well, hop's coming to town in December."

was there really enough coverage to make turns on Rose today??

I thoght about it (for about 10 sec @ 6am while snug in my bed) and decided to sleep in instead, didn't think there would be enough to keep from scraping rock and bush.....

now monday morning, that may be another story
