    Guitar playing nerds...

I know this belongs in gear swap or tech, but fuck it. Chirp chirp down there.
So, after years of not playing guitar, I need a short loop time delay effect pedal. CHEAP. Anyone have any old boss pedals they will never use again in trade for something I might not need?
I am just looking for a little subtle 'country-style' reverb, you know, that 'dunh duh dunh de dunh de dunh...sound...anyone?
    Or am I nuts?
I cruise the e-bay, but haven't found anything just right...thanks!

Have you looked for a used Boss DD3? I think thats what its called. Pretty decent pedal and so common I would think you should be able to find one for cheap.

Sounds like a slap back effect to me.

Be wary of used pedals: often the on/off switch can go kaput. Just buy a cheap new one. Prices have come down sooooooo much.

Consider getting a delay with a tap-tempo feature. Allows you to get the delay time you want by tapping the pedal with your foot rather than turning a knob with your hand (love that last phrase...turning a knob...).

Lots of folks recommend the Boss DD-6 and you might be able to find one on ebay.

Also check out reviews of any pedal at Harmony Central:
