where exactly? including part of the next finger at all? if so its an issue with your ulnar nerve

either way... its unlikely that this is a circulation issue

nope just the very edge of the side of my hand starting at the wrist and going into the pinky... it feels like the very end of when your hand falls asleep and then you wake it up (hand falls asleep, you wake it up, needle feeling/numbness goes away and then right before its feels normal again) very slight constant numbness?

    I had that this summer...

Mine was caused by a car collision, banging my elbow in the doorhandle. So my guess too, is that its nerve related.

almost certainly a nerve issue with the superficial palmar branch of the ulnar nerve but that doesn't really help you...

    + 1

    Cubital tunnel.
Cervical radiculopathy might be another consideration if the sensations begin more proximal (higher up the arm from the shoulder or neck).
    Unlikely to be circulatory pathology.

I get the same thing in my hand in the morning, stems from years of playing baseball with an elbow injury - too much scar tissue buildup pressing the nerve against the bone. I had a cortisone shot to fix it a year and a half ago, no more elbow pain but when I throw something or sleep on that side of my body I get a numbness on the lower part of my hand down through my pinky and ring finger. I'd guess yours is nerve related as well....do you have any elbow injuries on that side?

yeah i have some old elbow injuries from lacrosse... maybe the way i sleep just pinches a nerve, and that why its more severe when i wake up... i dont know why its a slight (almost nothing) tingle during the rest of the day though

    thanks
