It doesn't get much better than Mr K.

Actually, ride that trail on an MTB in the summer. It changes your perspective on it a tad.

Don't know for sure, but it will be more than just Mr. K. Look for Crazy Horse under the Gondy as well as a couple or three under swifty. Suppose to continue to be warm and dry until late in the week when a chance for moisture and cooler temps start to return. We need snow BAD!!!!!!

    UPDATE:

Mr. K will be the only run open.

My wife knows a gal who's married to a guy who blows snow up there.

    Bummer.

If you're talking about the z's on the shoulder above the traverse, those are tracks from patrol doing ski cuts.

    From BS site:

Big Sky has decided for the safety of it's customers and employees that current snow conditions are not conducive to a Thanksgiving weekend opening.

We are pleased to announce that we will extend the privileges for Frequent Sky holders for seven days of free skiing from December 2 through December 8, 2006, conditions permitting.

    Bummer, good news for Fez!

Beginning on March 14, the week after Big Sky Country “springs forward” Sunset Saturdays will begin. Sunset Saturdays will extend the hours of operation until 5pm, taking advantage of the extra hour of daylight. A party with live music in the plaza will launch the event.
How about every day after 3/14? Huh? Huh? Am I right?

That's a great shot of the Big! Here's one of Hidden....there should be a ski tips photo thread(and there probably already has been one)...I know I've seen a good shot that tone capone posted last year.
