    Firefox video question

I can not watch most linked videos in firefox. I just get a plug in necessary message, but when I try to load the plug in it saws now found, load manually. I have downloaded the latest Windows media players, but still no go. All video works fine with IE. Any help would be appreciated. Tahnks in advance.

Is this just 1 plug-in - like Macromedia Flash or all video formats? If it is just 1 which format? Since it states to manually load what happens if you go to the web site of the plug-in and download and install it?

All formats, downloading hasn't helped. I am not on 2.0 I will upgrade and see if that helps.
