Please bring out yer best bacon for NORTHWAY

Gottdam lurker finally came clean and is ripe for a proper jonging. Make it a good one, and don't stop until he pays up with the Cowlitz Chimneys and Naches Peak TRs he owes us.

This message is a "letter of reference."

Just an important peep in the PNW crew who's been lurking far too long. A bunch of you know Northway from Xtal, my house, MSP/TGR, etc. Clue: his toenails were featured prominently at a party this summer....

Northway...come clean. You owe it to Monique and I considering we cooked you dinner, gave you good wine, and let you sleep between us last season.

    You owe us HUGE!

This thread is worthless without pics.

    oh NO...outed!

and c'mon girlski, i think i at least provided some of the wine. as for the pics, i believe i sold the rights to those back to monique and girlski for far to little, there goes my shot at early retirement. damn girlski and her legal mind.

i've met a number of you all and skied with a few (thx monique), and it's always a good time. Looking forward to more turns this winter, and the weekend at crystal. bring tha snow!

You are welcome. Very nice second post, I must say. But it doesn't really address the missing Cowlitz and Naches TRs, now does it?

I seem to recall most if not all of the photos you have of me are of hiking and skiing. Which leads me to realize you haven't actually seen ALL the photos I have of you. Taken, like, in July, for example. So if I were you, I'd start writing those TRs.

Seems superfluous but what the hell:

Hey PNWbrit - if inviting me over for dinner and fine wine is what you call a proper JONGing around here, I'll take it!!!

Much fun skiing on saturday with you as well. I bailed on today as well as the rain and warm temps weren't looking too inviting.

OK, at monique's insistance, here's a couple pics from recent and not so recent outings. I'll insert pics here and hold my first proper TR for a later date once winter is in full swing here in the PNW. Let's see if I can figure this out...

Naches Peak, Chinook Pass, 11/11/06: Last Saturday, the day before the pass closed for the winter, shrouded in cloud so just a scenic, but fun first day with boot-top pow.

Last July this line lookers left in the Cowlitz Chimneys, MRNP caught my eye, it was quite late in the season, but I just had to ski it.

Inlisted a buddy for the trip, but we botched the approach so ended up having a fun day skiing corn on some snow fields around Summerland.

Still had to ski that line, so awoke early the next morning to give it another try, solo this time, made it to the top of the chute approaching from the back side, to this view:

In worse shape than I had hoped, but I knew it went, and after some pondering, decided I better give it a go.

Hope to catch this one in better shape some time, and hope the next pics I post here include deep pow, and hopefully soon!

Thanks for the pics, Northway. As your friendly neighborhood brand consultant I'm thinking "Quiet Riot" might be an appropriate tagline.

And Brit, that was an evening worthy of it's own TR. Thanks again for sharing the wine & more importantly the warmth of such a stellar group of people!
