AT Advice and Sugar Daddy Mounting Question?

I am looking to put together a relatively inexpensive AT set up that will also work as my primary resort planks. I would like something with a waist above 90 (Prefer closer to 105). Gotama's with freerides is my ideal but I know that's going to be difficut to impossible to do on my budget this time of year. A guy by me is selling a pair of Sugar daddies with the plate and R 614 bindings (he won't seperate them). Will I be able to mount freerides on these if I remove the plate; and is there much of a market for the bindings and plate. Help or suggestions with any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

Save yourself screwing with the plate and PM Mtnlion about some of the Heli Daddies he's usually got. Same ski w/ a flat tail and no plate, cheap.

you will not be able to mount freerides direct to the ski, one of the 3 heel screws goes right on the thin part of the beta rib

you will not be able to mount freerides direct to the mounting plate, it is made for atomic bindings only

thanks PH: what size sugars ya looking for?

170 helidaddy (same as sugar but lighter, softer tip, newer, and plateless) for $250

I also have 173 and 165 volkl explosives for same price

what length are you looking for, try here for 173 and under, not sure if these have the plate or not (it does say no bindings though.)

I will most likely have a pair for sale in a month of so. 183cm w/ mount anything plate. They are currently drilled for Look P14's at 295mm or so.

Your other option which I employed for a while was to make your own risers out of cutting boards.

I'm looking for something arround 180 ish, so it looks like what you've got is a little shorter than I'ld like thanks though mntlion.

Let me know when your looking to sell comish. I am hopefully going to get this set up put together sooner than a month or so. (carrying my old rossi's & alpine boots on my back realy sucks).
