twisted knee-- clicking in bruised joint

I was twisted my knee wrong in a game. At first they thought it was either a torn MCL or meniscus. I got my MRI results back and it said there was still swelling in the joint but the doctor thinks its more of a bruised joint.However, i didnt get hit or anything i just twisted it wrong. its been a few weeks since the injury and it still clicks when i walk. when you bruise your joint is it suppose to click like this?

Probably not. MRI's are not necessarily definitive. See another ortho that specializes in knees, if the one you saw doesn't, and have them check for a torn meniscus. If it's still clicking, that's usually a symptom of a meniscus problem.

thanks i probably will.. ill try and rest it a little longer and try and play on it again if it swells back up ill go back to the doctor
