So i got that Concourse Double off Strategic Air Command. It's freekin huge. says 185, but i wouldn't be supprised if it could fit 195. It might be a little too big for me. Anyone have experience putting 3 skis in here? looks like it might work.

Put the gf in there![]()
Just got my goats, pocket rockets & my girl's little 158 K2's in. It was a game of tetris but i won the fucker. Here's what i found:
Legnth: Tried a pair of old ass 195's, and BARELY squeezed them in, was not pretty and they would be the only ski in the bag since it was a diagonal fit. Stretched the bag a bit. I'd say you MIGHT be able to fit 2 190's in it, but I don't have the boards to try. A 183 & 188 fit fine.
Width: Bindings are of course the big thing here. Solly 914 & 916 were fine. Then the only way the lady skis fit was beacause they have those tiny atomic bindings, was still tight. With 2 sets of poles in it was still ok, but I'm concerned about beinding the poles when the airport baggage "handlers" throw my bag into whatever they use to fuck your luggage sideways.
I'm pumped that I can bring 2 sets of boards plus my girl's when she tags along. Problem is of course the bag weighs a metric ton with 3 sets, would DEFINATLEY get raped by the airline for a heavy as shit bag.
All in all the bag is bomber, great construction, nice wheels, and good pading. Sick value.
But you won't be able to strap the 3rd pair downThe ski's might get damaged, just rubbing up against each other like that (wooh baby
)
Stick to 2. We carry 165's, so know how big the bag isIt ashly works fine for us.
...in the lovely rooftop apartment. Hang on, maybe no poles are used...![]()
...Remember, those who think Global Warming is Fake, also think that Adam & Eve were Real...
Yeah, I think weight is the bigger factor. I can get three pairs (with one pair unmounted) into my unpadded bag and I'm right at the 50 lbs limit, or at least close enough to talk my way through it. I wouldn't stand a chance with the Concourse tanker and 3 pairs.
What about in terms of packing other gear. Could you get helmet, jacket, pants, boots, clothes etc in there? Basically could you use the bag for everything on a ski trip if you only put in one pair of sticks?
Setjo, yep... Well, OK a big helmet wouldn't fit but boots, clothes and such should.
I have the HUUUGEE Dakine (more or less Concourse Double 195cm, or something like that), And I could fit in the following:
-Big Daddy + 7tm
-186 Stormrider DP + 7tm
~190 Goode 95 + Tele Bulldog
-183 Sugar Daddy + Naxo NX21
Plus a "huuge" soft skibag, some clothes, my teleboots and some assorted shite.
Funny thing is, there's about 20cm of excess space after I slap in my BD's, and no, they are not diagonally.

If the 185cm is taller than me (and i'm 6') the 200cm must touch the ceiling; and be a lot taller than 200cm. i foresee sticking 2 or 3 pair in here and a bunch of clothing to protect the skis from bagage handlers. I'll be changing over in Mineapolis on the way to Bozeman. Do people in Min even know what skis are?
