    Binding Flat Spot

How big a deal is the binding 'flat spot' to most people on the board? There's all kinds of funny plates and links and 'systems' to minimize this, but given everybody on this board either:

    a) skis 916s
    b) skis p18s
    c) secretly skis Markers while spouting about skiing 920s

I take it the flat spot is not a big concern.

Is that because the dreaded flat spot was an excuse to sell more bindings? Or is it because nobody here will admit to being on anything less than big, fat, straight, charging skis that don't flex and therefore don't have the flat spot?

    Actually a semi-serious question.
