    Gat. I-70 closed

What's this mean? I can't drive to Vail, so I don't have to work....unfortunately I can go East through the tunnel to ski Loveland either...and LP is closed. Like I said, GAT.

Guess I'll hang out with all you nerds while refreshing the cdot page....

Probably not, just on the weekend.

LB-think BP is closed too. Should I solo the J and make a huge TR?

As your future atty I highly suggest you do this, just make sure to watermark the photos so KStormchaser doesn't take credit.

It doesn't specifically say that 40 is closed just that 70 is...

but a J solo TR would be HUDGE, show the kid from breck what a proper TR should be.

I've been thinking about what the Gosey would do in this situation.

I think I'm just gonna skin up to the tunnel.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. And I think it's spelled "Lesbaru" but sometimes the translation from Japanese leaves room for interpretation.

It is scheduled for next week. Jerry Springer is an alum of my law school.

    Nobody ever mentions him, though...

Just got a call from some non-maggot friends from Loveland. Said it was nuking, windy, poor visibility and that they hadn't opened anything else. Maybe I'll just wax up the Spats for tomorrow morning.

I bet it is super windy up there. It's been gusting over 50mph down here in the foot hills.

9News at noon is saying the I-70 from Georgetown to Vail is closed, along with Loveland Pass.

They haven't said anything about B-pass. But, I bet driving conditions are "difficult."

BTW, the CAIC issued its first backcountry forecast yesterday afternoon. Check it out at :

    http://geosurvey.state.co.us/avalanche/

And BTW again, I'm doing the Friends Of Berthoud Pass avalanche classroom session tonight in Denver....

    Cheers,
