Aren't you the one who works with all the farters?

In any case...all the best to you man. Way to go for it!

I dunno. Having worked for a jackass before, I would say cut all ties and move on. You'll feel free and relieved. You didn't need the money before you knew it was available...good luck!

Well, I just left work about 30 min ago. Today was my last day. Done with that place. I figured I would thank the owner for employing me the last 4 1/2 years and his only response was....... "If I find out you are working for a competitor, I'm going to hunt you down and haunt you."

Looks like I'm going to see him again soon!

Kind parting words. I worked for a guy like that once. Good thing to leave.

    Congrats, mang.

Guess you didn't have that paid leave of absence then.....

Sorry I didn't catch you before you took off (I'm leaving tonight...) but good luck in Maui, see you at the Wood in 2007....

Nope, had it. Turned it down days ago. I'm not going to take his money knowing full well I will never come back.

Yeah, expect me in late Jan.

Whoa....YOU took the moral high ground??? WTF??? First you're missing out on the most epic December California has ever seen for Maui, and now you're not taking free money???

You'd better take your goggles down there, 'cuz there's no way I'll be seen skiing with you in late January without the goggle tan.

For future reference, your Hawaii TR will be worthless without pics, and I expect to see none of this moral highground bullshit in the pics...

Well, here I go again. A plum fell from the sky and I just have to grab it. I'm giving notice today at my job of the last 3 months. Great place to work but something bigger and better came along. Time for another life change...
