Bringing Bear Across boarder in airplain

Ok heres the situation... me and a couple of friends are 18-19 years old (whihc is bearing age in canada in ontario to be specific) we are going on a trip to Jackson hole where i beleive the bearing age is 21. We are planing a WHOLE suitcase full of bear because i am asuming we will not be able to buy it. Has anyone brought so much bear, has it been confiscated, if not how did u wrap it for it not to break? and... potentially are people in JAckson friendly errrr willing to buy u bear/rabbit for money...

    thnx alot, all answers appreciated

You are allowed to bring a live bear with you. However, you will have to buy him a separate plane ticket. This is for black and brown bears only. The Canadians won't allow their polar bears to be exported.

Do not let them put your luggage through the x-ray machine. Insist on a hand search. Nothing is worse than finding a cancer in your bear.

I wouldn't worry about it mcuh. We still have hte rite to arm bears here, so as long as you declar the bear at the boarder, your ok (dont yell, just use bro-brah speak). But I wouldn't put the bear in czeched lugage - it migt get to cold or dpresurised. Nothing worse than a popped bear in your bags, gets all over everthing.

As long as you are taking the bear to Jellystone Park you should be O.K.

dunno how you gets dem bears in there though... most people like there bears cold... so maybe if you got em cold enough theyd freeze and you could just slip em right in thos vault thingies

I've always used hanging bear bags, good for odd-shaepd bears; plus it keeps the kids away from the bear ... but thsi valt has airholes, and maybe the bear cant unscrew the cap form inside ... mabye its a child-pruf cap.
