BCA, Stands by their Product and Warranty

Well I snapped one of my BCA Alpine Trekkers in half yesterday, I called and left a message since it was Sunday. I recieved a call at 8:00am this morning from Chris at BCA telling me to send them in and they would send me out a new pair as soon as they received the old ones. It is nice to see a company stand by their product and issue a warranty with no questions asked. I will most likely use these for a bit until I can save for some Naxo's.

A buckle broke on my Stash pack that required unstitching and restitching a strap to replace. I brought it into Chris on a Friday at about 4 pm (2 Fridays ago) and he had it fixed by noon on Tuesday! BCA has a fast repair time too!

I torqued a few screws out of my Trekkers and lost the return springs last week. Gave BCA a call the next day, and the guy on the phone was very helpful. They sent me the replacement parts in the mail ASAP because I figured I could just do the repair myself. Nice to have someone stand behind their product like that.

I wonder if theyd let you trade in your broken trekker as credit toward a naxo? Might be an option to help you "save" enough sooner.

or just sell your new trekkers for 150 on ebay, then pony up the extra hundred to get naxos

Yup, they are super cool about warranties.

Also, now that you are completly aware that trekkers have that particular weak spot, its not too hard to avoid bending em too far. Just keep that thought in mind while you're skinning, and its not too hard to avoid.

Another big props to BCA. I had a tracker that the housing was cracked near a screw. Not sure if I cause it or stress of the screw but they hooked me up with a brand new beacon.
